This Cookie Policy explains how findmyshoesize.com (the “Site”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
The first time you open the Site, a banner at the bottom of the screen asks whether you are happy for us to use analytics. Until you answer, analytics are switched off and no cookies are set — not one, and not a “necessary” one either. Nothing is written to your browser while the question is still open.
Either way we remember your answer so the banner does not follow you from page to page, and you can change it at any time in section 5.
The Site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people find useful — but only after you choose “Allow” on the banner. That is the only third-party script we load. We run no advertising, retargeting or social-media tracking, and we do not sell or share what we collect.
Nothing is stored until you say yes. Analytics starts switched off. If you choose “No thanks”, no cookies are set at all and the Site works exactly the same.
If you allow it, Google Analytics sets two cookies:
_ga — tells one browser apart from another so a returning visit is not counted twice. Expires after 2 years._ga_HYEY15PXNW — keeps track of the current visit. Expires after 2 years. We also store your answer itself — just the word “granted” or “denied” — in your browser’s local storage, so we do not ask again on every page. That is not a cookie and is never sent to us or to anyone else.
Neither cookie contains your name, email or anything you type into the size calculator. Your measurements are never sent anywhere, whichever button you press — the calculator runs entirely in your browser, and we do not record what you measured or what size you were given.
Analytics were added on September 9, 2026, and the consent banner on September 14, 2026. This page was updated before each went live, as we said it would be.
The same commitment stands for anything we add next: if we ever introduce advertising, retargeting or another feature that requires cookies, we will describe it here — what it is, what it is for, and how to opt out — before it goes live.
Whatever you answered on the banner, you can change it here, at any time, and as often as you like. Turning analytics off also deletes the two cookies already in your browser — we do not simply stop adding to them.
Two further options, independent of anything we do:
None of this affects the size calculator — it works the same either way.
